Work of art at European Parliament to mark anniversary of Daphne Caruana Galizia’s assassination

A work of art will be unveiled during a ceremony at the European Parliament on the anniversary of the assassination of Maltese journalist Daphne Caruana Galizia on 16 October.

The work of art will be displayed permanently in the EP press room in Strasbourg dedicated to Caruana Galizia, which was inaugurated in November by EP President Antonio Tajani.

The news was announced on Facebook by the PN’s head of delegation MEP David Casa.

Tajani had said the European Parliament will not rest until the killers of the journalist are found.

Caruana Galizia, 53, was killed in a car bomb in broad daylight a few metres away from her home. There men have been arraigned in relation to the killing, but calls for justice persist as the mastermind remains unidentified.
