A group of #resistenza activists have placed placards on the road from Bidnija – where journalist Daphne Caruana Galizia was killed in a car bomb on 16 October 2017 – down to Burmarrad where Prime Minister Joseph Muscat resides.

The placards marking the fifth month since the journalist’s death on Friday carry messages such as ‘Rule of Delinquents’, ‘Where are the resignations?’ and ‘A journalist killed in a climate of impunity.’ (See below)

Posters and placards with similar messages were also placed in Valletta, in the streets leading to the Prime Minister’s Office.

Three men have been charged with the execution of the murder but so far nobody has been arrested over the commissioning of the car bomb.

Meanwhile, banners that have appeared on Malta’s roads every 16th of the month since Caruana Galizia’s assassination reappeared again, driving the message home: ‘Who killed Daphne?’

Today, a vigil will be held at her memorial in front of the law courts in Valletta at 6.30pm. It will be followed by an event at Castille Square organised by #occupyjustice with the name ‘The People’s Playlist’.
